Respected sir,
This letter is not only from me but on behalf of all my classmates. You have played a great role in our college life. I never knew that there were even cool teachers like you, we had a fixed conception about teachers and you are quite opposite to that. At the first semester you are everyone favourite teacher! But, when you started pushing us to write blogs, do assignments, internships, attend lectures, fests, you have no idea how much we have cursed you. Now we realise that those were the best memories of our college life. How do we thank you for that??
I've always wondered, this man is so talented, has great contacts and what the hell is he doing with monkeys like us?? I always wanted to know why you took up this profession?
Sir, I was not the confident girl as I am now. I had seen only suppression in my life. You have played a great role in building up my confidence. Three years back, you had told me that I had a very long way to go and achieve great things, when I had brought a journalist for a guest lecture in our college. there are many such instances. Later, i came to know that I was not the only one, there are many students whom you have tamed and mentored. Sir, why were you bothered about our lives? A teacher's job is just to teach! How would it matter to you if someone named Greeshma sat in the last bench quietly doing nothing?? You know, if you discuss about me with my previous teachers they wont believe you because I was not this confident and did nothing! I know that am not the only Greeshma whom you have mentored.. For that you deserve every Honor in this country. I must say I was lucky to have right mentor at right time. Sir, I wish to take your legacy forward and help teenagers to build their confidence and mentor them . I hope am strong enough to do that!
Sir, its our last year with you... We all will definitely miss you. After we pass out of the college we are own our own, will we ever get a mentor like you..?? Each one of us wanted to do something special for you. This my way of thanksgiving. Your favourite way - BLOG!! And by the way tomorrow is your birthday right?? We all(3sem) are WISHING YOU A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY... You were and will always be our favourite teacher...
